There is nothing as
exciting as going to a new town, city, state or country for
the first time! It is always a new adventure. What new
places will I see? What new customs will I experience? Will
the beauty be old world or new wonders? Will there be old
friends there to greet me or new friends to make? This is why
I love to travel!
It is always an adventure
to go to new places! See how people around the world live;
learn about their culture and customs. The centuries old
buildings and cobblestone streets in Europe! The Cathedrals
in large cities and the chapels in small villages! Trying
new foods, wine and beer! Seeing Michael Angelo's David in
Florence or the Pieta in Rome! Visiting the small fishing
village of Positano, Italy; or sitting at a café along the
harbor in Cassis, France; or walking the streets of Monte
Carlo; or visiting a neighborhood pub in London; or staying
with friends, in a home that was built in 1570 AD, on the
Isle of Wight. It is all an adventure in living!
No matter what I find, I
always come away with a bounty of photos that I captured
through my camera lens! Come join me on my journeys and
enjoy the scenic beauty of the world!
